Threads - A Journal

There must be humble beginnings, so this is the first "Thread" to be posted herin.

Let me first describe how I got the idea for "Threads", then I'll bumble around to what it portains to be/do. Then, I'll acually begin to post some things of interest. My job as a newspaper advertising graphic designer for the Times Picayune in New Orleans left plenty of time in between production of the ever-dwindling ad department workload, (perhaps that will be covered in another post). At any rate, I had time to surf the web, and got paid to do it! I started logging all of my web surfing because I wanted a sort of journal, or breadcrumbs to follow later when I wanted to recall what I was researching or digging around for online.

I don't know about you, but I find that I could spend hours/days/weeks just reading stuff on wikipedia, and this is really where the "Threads" idea comes into play; one search on any given topic leads to another; the content of which is infinitely interesting.
